4 Tools for a Successful Immigration Process to the United States

The US Department of State offers this online tool to help determine what type of visa may be right for you.

You can access it through the following link: Visa Wizard This tool will provide you with an interactive questionnaire where you will have to answer a series of questions about your situation and purpose of travel.

Upon completion, you will receive a list of the visas most relevant to you, along with links to detailed information on each.

Once you have filed an application with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), you can use this online tool to check the status of your case.

Visit: USCIS Case Status Online Enter the receipt number you received when you submitted your application and the tool will provide you with up-to-date information on the status of your case, such as whether it is being processed, whether any further action is required, or whether a decision has been made on your immigration process through USA.

If you are an employer in the United States and need to verify the employment eligibility of a prospective employee, E-Verify is an online tool that can help you confirm someone’s work authorizat

For more information, visit: E-Verify is an online system that allows employers to compare information provided by employees on Form I-9 with records from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Social Security Administration (SSA).

This helps ensure that employees are authorized to work in the United States.

If you need to schedule an in-person appointment with a USCIS officer to discuss your immigration process to the United States, you can use the online tool Infopass to do it.

However, please note that beginning in 2021, USCIS has temporarily suspended the use of the Infopass due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Be sure to check current availability before planning a visit. Infopass allows you to schedule an appointment at a local USCIS office to obtain information about your case, ask specific questions, or resolve issues related to your immigration application.
