1. Who We Are

Nations Law Group (hereinafter, “Nations Law Group,” “the Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an immigration law firm located at:

Nations Law Group

2525 Blueberry Road, Suite 207

Anchorage, Alaska 99503, United States

Phone: 907-770-0909

Email: info@nationslawak.com

Website: https://nationslawak.com/

This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when an individual visits our website, fills out a form, requests a consultation, communicates with us, or interacts with our advertisements on Google, YouTube, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), or other platforms.

2. Scope and Attorney-Client Relationship

This Policy applies to the website and digital marketing activities of Nations Law Group. It does not alter any professional confidentiality obligations that may arise after an attorney-client relationship is formally established.

Visiting the site, submitting a form, or communicating with the Firm does not, by itself, create an attorney-client relationship. Do not send original documents, Social Security numbers, passport numbers, A-numbers, financial information, medical histories, or other highly sensitive information until specifically requested by the Firm through an authorized channel. Information sent before an attorney-client relationship exists may not be protected by attorney-client privilege and will be subject to conflict-of-interest reviews.

3. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact and Identification Data: Name, email address, phone number, state of residence, and other information that an individual chooses to provide.

  • Legal Inquiry Information: Message content, general type of matter, basic information regarding a detention or immigration proceeding, and related communications. This information may reveal citizenship, country of origin, immigration status, refugee or asylum seeker status, legal history, or other sensitive circumstances.

  • Technical and Usage Data: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, online identifiers, pages visited, date and time, referring site or ad, UTM parameters, interactions with the site, and approximate location derived from the IP address.

  • Advertising and Measurement Data: Clicks, impressions, visits, conversions, and other campaign-related events. Where permitted by settings and applicable law, certain providers may receive pseudonymous identifiers or transformed contact data for measurement and matching purposes.

  • Information Received from Platforms: Information submitted by an individual through lead forms on Google, Meta, or other platforms, along with associated campaign data.

  • Communications: Records of phone calls, emails, text messages, and communication preferences, where applicable.

We do not request detailed immigration information, government documents, or financial data on lead/advertising forms. Nor do we authorize advertising platforms to use immigration status or information regarding legal difficulties to build profiles or target custom audiences.

4. How We Collect Information

We collect information:

  • Directly from you: When you complete forms, call, email, or message us.

  • Automatically: Through cookies, tags, pixels, server logs, and similar technologies.

  • From advertising platforms or social networks: When you interact with an ad or lead form.

  • From third-party vendors: Service providers who assist us with web hosting, security, contact management, analytics, consultation scheduling, and advertising.

5. How We Use Information

We may use this information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and requests for case evaluations or consultations.

  • Contact individuals by phone, email, or text message regarding their requests.

  • Conduct preliminary reviews and check for potential conflicts of interest.

  • Provide and manage legal services once a formal attorney-client relationship is established.

  • Operate, protect, diagnose, and improve the website.

  • Prevent fraud, abuse, spam, and unauthorized access.

  • Measure ad performance and attribute conversions.

  • Display general advertising and, where strictly permitted, advertising based on non-sensitive signals.

  • Maintain records and comply with legal, regulatory, ethical, and professional obligations.

  • Exercise or defend legal rights and protect the safety of individuals and the Firm.

Where applicable law requires a specific legal basis, we process data based on consent, pre-contractual steps requested by the individual, legitimate interests that do not override individual rights, compliance with legal or professional obligations, or the protection of vital interests, as appropriate.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The site may use the following categories of cookies:

  • Essential and Security: Required for site operation, form submission, security, and spam prevention, including Google reCAPTCHA.

  • Preferences and Consent: Remember selections such as language and cookie settings. We may use CookieYes to manage these preferences.

  • Analytics: Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager help us understand site usage and performance.

  • Contact Management: RD Station and related tools help us receive and organize requests and identify inquiry sources.

  • Advertising and Measurement: Google Ads, YouTube, and Meta Pixel measure visits and conversions. TikTok Pixel or other TikTok technologies will only be used if legal, permitted under TikTok policies, and activated by the Firm.

  • Embedded Content: Embedded videos, maps, or third-party content may collect information when loaded or played. Where feasible, YouTube videos are embedded using Enhanced Privacy Mode.

Non-essential cookies are activated according to visitor preferences and applicable law. Visitors can accept, decline, or manage cookies via the “Cookie Preferences” banner on the site or through their browser settings (note that blocking certain cookies may affect functionality).

7. Google Ads, Google Analytics, and YouTube

Google may receive technical data, identifiers, visit information, and conversion events to provide analytics, security, measurement, and advertising services. Because YouTube is part of Google, YouTube advertising and embedded videos may involve processing by Google.

Nations Law Group does not use or authorize the use of information that reveals immigration status, refugee status, asylum requests, detentions, deportations, or other legal difficulties to build customer lists, remarketing segments, or similar audiences. Measurement is limited, as far as possible, to general or aggregated events and excludes form text, case file numbers, documents, or case descriptions.

For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy, How Google Uses Information from Sites or Apps, and Google Ad Settings.

8. Meta: Facebook and Instagram

The site may use Meta Pixel or other Meta Business Tools to measure campaign performance and general site events. Meta may use cookies, web beacons, and identifiers to provide measurement and ad-delivery services under its own terms and policies.

We do not intentionally transmit message contents, documents, case numbers, or data revealing immigration status or other sensitive information to Meta. Visitors may opt out of advertising technologies via our cookie panel or manage off-Meta activity and ad preferences directly within Meta.

For more information, see Meta’s Privacy Policy and Meta Business Tools Terms.

9. TikTok

If an individual interacts with organic Nations Law Group content on TikTok, TikTok processes that information according to its own policies. Nations Law Group will not use TikTok Pixel, lead forms, or ads for immigration services where such use is prohibited by current TikTok policies or applicable law.

If TikTok explicitly permits such use in the future and the Firm chooses to activate it, this Policy will be updated before any information is collected through those tools, and appropriate consents will be requested.

For more information, see TikTok’s Privacy Policy and TikTok Safety Center.

10. When We Disclose Information

We may disclose information—strictly limited to what is necessary—to:

  • Service providers for hosting, security, forms, email, telecommunications, scheduling, contact management, and IT support.

  • Analytics and advertising providers (e.g., Google and Meta), subject to visitor preferences and applicable restrictions.

  • RD Station and vendors assisting with lead and traffic source management.

  • Attorneys, consultants, and other professionals subject to duties of confidentiality.

  • Authorities, courts, or other third parties when legally obligated by a valid order or when necessary to protect legal rights, safety, or system integrity.

  • A successor to the Firm in the event of a merger, reorganization, or permitted transfer, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information for money. Certain disclosures via advertising cookies may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under specific U.S. state privacy laws. Where applicable, individuals may opt out via “Cookie Preferences,” “Your Privacy Choices,” or by emailing info@nationslawak.com.

11. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described:

  • Non-client inquiries: Retained for up to 24 months from the last interaction, unless a longer period is justified by legal, ethical, security, or conflict-of-interest obligations.

  • Conflict checks: Basic records required to identify conflicts of interest may be retained longer.

  • Client information: Retained in accordance with the legal services agreement, professional conduct rules, legal requirements, and the Firm’s file management policies.

  • Cookie/Ad data: Retained according to applicable settings and individual provider retention periods.

  • Privacy requests & consent logs: Retained for the time necessary to demonstrate legal compliance.

When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it in a reasonable manner.

12. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, including HTTPS encryption, access controls, vetted service providers, and anti-abuse protection mechanisms. However, no internet transmission or storage system is 100% secure; therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Important: Do not submit urgent or highly confidential legal details via standard web forms. For urgent detention matters, please use only the direct contact channels designated by the Firm.

13. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on your place of residence and applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Know, access, or request a copy of your personal information.

  • Correct inaccurate information.

  • Request the deletion of your data.

  • Obtain a portable copy of certain data.

  • Withdraw previously given consent.

  • Opt out of the sale, sharing, or targeted advertising of your data.

  • Limit certain uses of sensitive personal information.

  • Appeal a decision regarding a privacy request.

  • Be free from discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

These rights may be subject to statutory exceptions, including legal obligations, attorney-client confidentiality, conflict-of-interest checks, defense of legal claims, and professional legal duties.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@nationslawak.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” or call 907-770-0909. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity and authorization. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law. We will respond within the applicable legal timeframe.

We also respect recognized universal opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), where legally required and where the signal can be reasonably associated with your browser or device.

14. Communications

We may respond to inquiries via phone call, email, or text message. Operational communications regarding a consultation request are not considered marketing. We only send promotional emails or automated text messages where there is a valid legal basis and required consent. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link provided in the message or reply STOP to opt out of promotional text messages. Message and data rates may apply.

15. Children’s Privacy

Our website is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect their information directly for marketing purposes. Inquiries involving a minor must be submitted by a parent, legal guardian, or authorized legal representative. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information directly to us without authorization, please contact us so we may review and delete it as appropriate.

16. International Data Transfers

The Firm and several of its service providers operate in the United States. Your information may be stored or processed in the United States or other countries where our providers maintain facilities. Where required, we apply appropriate legal mechanisms and safeguards for cross-border data transfers.

17. Third-Party Websites and Services

Our website may contain links to or integrations with third-party sites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Nations Law Group does not control and is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these third parties.

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in legal requirements, technology, or our business practices. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. If material changes are made, we will provide additional notice as appropriate.
